ACO Completes the Sale of Lincoln Square Commercial Property in Under 40 Days

ACO Commercial Completes Sale of Champaign Redevelopment Site for $2.91 Million
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Thursday, July 9, 2015
ACO Commercial is pleased to announce the sale of 1008 S. 4th Street, Champaign, Illinois.
George Toscas, Managing Broker, arranged the sale of the redevelopment opportunity on behalf of a Chicago-based long-term owner. The property was sold to a Champaign/Chicago-based developer who plans to construct high-end student housing on the site – adjacent to the University of Illinois campus.
The site comprised 27,435 SF of land is located in a highly desirable area just south of the bustling Green Street retail district. The sale price of $2.91 million represented a record high for the submarket at $106/SF.
